Here's a shot of the outside with our patio furniture (although the nights have been too cold the past few months to hang out outside). No, Mike didn't plant those flowers.
A few shots of the compound tennis courts and pool. We both have been taking lessons from the tennis pro, but it seems that we have seen little improvement in our tennis skills so far.
And a few in and around Riyadh. This is a picture of 'Chop Chop Square' where they do the public cutting off of criminals' hands/heads every Friday. No we haven't been and don't plan on getting even close to there on Fridays.
The tall building is one of the tallest buildings in Riyadh. It's called Faisaliah and has a fancy restaurant at the top called 'The Globe'. We went there this weekend for 'high tea' with some Canadian friends; the view from the top at sunset was pretty awesome.

ReplyDeleteI think you've done a nice job of making your living room homey. I can't imagine trying to understand that writing all the time at least they didn't change the colours of any of the brands. Tennis lessons? Really? Mavis you can already beat most people here! You and Mike won't have any challengers once they hear you're taking lessons. Well maybe Steve if he comes home. I thank you for mentioning that you don't go near the chop chop square that really makes me shudder. It looks like you guys are really settled in. Miss you!!!
